Solid French Door Counter Depth refrigerator with ample cubic footage in both the refrigerator and freezer compartments and practical shelf layout including the shelf layout within the doors. Easy to balance/stabilize on floors. Doors have a very positive seal as compared to our former Samsung French Door refrigerator. Compressor also cycles more efficiently than the Samsung compressor which toward the end of its’ short 8 year life would not keep pace with changing ambient air (room) temperatures, which would cause it to cycle more frequently for short runs which no doubt shortened the life of this compressor, notwithstanding the fact that we always kept the condenser coils very clean which usually improves the life expectancy of a compressor. However, the air outlet like brands across the market with perhaps the exception of Subzero (which of course comes with a much higher price tag and exhausts all air to the outside like those found designed for commercial refrigerators), air is exhausted to the inside, however the air outlet is located at an adequate elevation in the rear of the refrigerator making it very visible and easy to avoid in terms of accidentally blocking it.
