Specifications   Part Details: AEM’s 400LPH AN Fittings High Flow, High-Pressure Inline Fuel Pump is designed for high-performance naturally aspirated and forced induction EFI vehicles. Built around the industry-standard “044 Style” envelope, this pump offers high flow capability, flexible installation options, and AN fittings for easy integration into custom fuel systems. This pump can be installed externally or in-tank when used with optional mounting hardware (sold separately). Its -10 AN female inlet and -6 AN female outlet connections make it well suited for new fuel system builds or direct replacement of existing competitor pumps using similar configurations. Performance Overview The AEM 400LPH High Flow Fuel Pump delivers strong and consistent fuel flow across a wide pressure range. It is capable of supporting over 1,200 HP in naturally aspirated applications and approximately 860 HP at 30 psi of boost, depending on system configuration and electrical supply. 400 LPH (100 GPH) @ 40 PSI 340 LPH (90 GPH) @ 73 PSI 270 LPH (71 GPH) @ 120 PSI Complete flow curves from 35 to 120 PSI and current draw versus fuel pressure charts are available in the Specs tab. Fuel Compatibility This fuel pump is rated for use with ethanol-blended fuels such as E85 and E90, as well as all types of gasoline. Use with 100% ethanol fuels may reduce overall pump life. Refer to the Electrical Requirements section in the instructions document for proper wiring guidance. Application sizing: Although AEM high flow fuel pumps share physical dimensions with many OEM pumps, they may not be appropriate for every application. Always verify fuel pump sizing for your specific vehicle before purchasing. No tank modification: AEM does not condone or approve modification of the fuel tank to accommodate a high flow fuel pump and cannot guarantee performance or operation if modifications are made. *Power ratings are based on gasoline use with a base fuel pressure of 43 PSI, 13.5V at the pump, fuel density of 6.2 lbs/gal, and a BSFC of 0.65. Boost fuel pressure is calculated as base pressure plus boost pressure. Actual horsepower support depends on fuel hose diameter, electrical voltage, and system amperage capability.
