Fast growing and compact with an upright habit I make the ideal low maintenance hedge. I can be pruned to formal shapes and even used for topiary if desired but have naturally good form unpruned. My fluffy white flowers in spring are followed by purple berries. Both my flowers and berries attract native wildlife for which I am an important food source and habitat. I am a fire retardant plant.
